North London artist Jordan YV releases the visuals for his brand-new single ‘Mind The Gap’

Member of the creative collective XXXGVNG, Jordan YV narrates the experiences of being a young North Londoner living in South London by depicting the different yet not too vast gap of influence between these two areas.

The JavvyLuu-filmed visuals, cleverly shot on London Underground brilliantly showcase the mood of ‘Mind The Gap’ and reinforces the direction of the track as he showcases his musical style.

Speaking on the concept behind his latest track, Jordan YV explains: “The concept was the London Underground it’s in the production and in the video, I travel around in the London a lot  and most times I’m on the underground, however, no matter where I go I make sure to keep a positive vibe in the hook “I don’t need to wear a vest, anywhere that I go” I try to always make friends not enemies”.

We asked Jordan YV when he got started in music and what we can expect from him for the rest of 2018:

“Ever since primary school really, like I did a couple talent shows and the first song I ever wrote was a remix of T-Pain ‘Buy U A Drank’. However, as time went on I always stayed in the music room learning to produce and write music, in terms of musical style I’d say it’s mainly Trap Hop”.

“You can expect nothing but waves and different energies, I’ve got a backlog of bangers on the way until my project Wavy next year!”.
